Shocking news came late last week about the 2022 season.
It’s only August but we knew that the Splash Series of pontoons by Legend Boats was close to being sold out for the 2022 season. We were advised late last week that not only had the Splash Series actually reached the point of being sold out completely, but Legend was close to overall production capacity for all pontoons for 2022. Demand is even greater than it was for 2021.
In the last two months, we have presold more than half of what we sold in the entire season last year. If it’s happening here, it’s happening everywhere. We expect there won’t be anything left unsold next season and at this rate, there likely won’t be anything left by Christmas or possibly Thanksgiving.
This means if you have thoughts of getting a new boat for next season – order it asap. Waiting until the spring will mean you will likely only have minimal (or no) selection which may mean either not getting a boat or compromising on your preferred size or layout.
