Yesterday, November 5, 2015, was spectacular everywhere but better here (because of the lake!).
Blue skies, not a cloud to be seen, tshirts and regrets that we'd put away the shorts. We hit 25 degrees and there was actually humidity in the air too --- in November! The day before was great too. That was ladybug day. Thousands of them appeared out of nowhere. The front of the building was covered, someone came inside and brought a dozen or so inside with her. This should have made for a lovely day to do the chore of getting the barge out of the lake, perfect conditions, the lake was flat and there was not even a breeze. Though a lovely day, apparently even the Barge doesn't want to leave Anstuther, it was time to come out but it resisted and today our muscles are reminding us of the chore. The water levels are very low and challenged us with positioning the barge's trailer on the best angle, every time it was winched up, the back end twisted outward but we finally got it out.
